Message from the President
As a learning-centered community college, Pensacola Junior College will
continue the tradition of offering an affordable, quality education
taught by first-rate faculty. More than 1,300 professional faculty and staff
members blend their talents, teaching, and experience to fulfill dreams and
create careers for PJC students.
The overall objective of our strategic plan is to build a foundation of
successful stepping stones. It is designed to help students meet their
educational goals and our communities build bridges to better futures. The
individual unit plans, specific area plans and the measure of our effectiveness
as a college will be based directly on this guidance.
We must be fully aware of this plan as we move forward with the operation of
the college. Similarly, we must be aware of changing market conditions and our
need to adjust goals as necessary to meet diverse needs.
Looking ahead, Pensacola Junior College will continue to develop visionary
strategies, new initiatives and innovative solutions to ensure future success.
