GED Frequently Asked Questions
If I fail, do I have to retake the entire test?
No, you only retake those sub-tests you failed.
What if I pass all the GED sub-tests but do not make the total of 2,250
points required?
You may choose the sub-tests you would like to retake in order to improve you
overall score.
When will I receive my results?
You will receive your results within six to eight weeks of the date you take
the GED.
Is the GED harder now?
The GED test was updated in 2002 to reflect what is currently being
taught in high schools. Many of our test takers are passing on the first
attempt.
