General Education Development Test (GED)
Adults who pass the GED Test in Florida are awarded a State of Florida High School Diploma. A high school diploma enables adults to obtain jobs or advancement, enroll in higher education, or pursue technical training.

New GED Test Series Coming
On January 1, 2012, a newly revised GED test series will take effect. You must earn passing scores on all 5 sections of the current GED test series by December 31, 2011. If you do not pass the GED by December 31, 2011, you will need to start over and take the entire GED 2012 series test battery.
