Introduction to Women's Studies - Spring 2005

Introduction to Women's Studies (WST2010) is offered every spring through the History, Languages and Philosophy Department. The class meets on Wednesday nights and is a three college credit class.

Description: An interdisciplinary approach to the study of major issues relevant to the female experience. The course integrates imaginative literature with a variety of non-fiction readings from history, psychology and other academic disciplines. Reading, writing, discussing and working collaboratively will develop students' understanding of the experiences of women in Western culture and provide them with a context for evaluating their personal experiences. A writing emphasis course.
