Emily Mahood is the coordinator of the Rape Risk Reduction Education and Training Program. She received her bachelor's degree in family and child development and women's studies from Florida State University and is currently pursuing a master's degree in educational leadership at the University of West Florida.

 Mahood has served as a board member for the FSU Women's Center, completed an internship in community outreach on violence against women, and has served as a volunteer victim's advocate. Mahood is a certified family life educator through the National Council on Family Relations.

She also is certified as a victim services practitioner by the Florida Office of the Attorney General and maintains certification as a family life educator through the National Council on Family Relations.
