Learning Disabilities (LD)
LD is defined as a disorder in one or more of the basic psychological processes involved in the understanding or use of language (either spoken or written).
LD disorders may include:
- Imperfect ability to listen, think, speak, read, write, spell, or perform mathematical calculations.
- Perceptual handicaps.
- Brain injury.
- Minimum brain dysfunction.
- Dyslexia.
- Developmental aphasia.
