How do I receive credits?
Do I have to pay for these credits earned through my high school classes?
Many of the specialized academies and programs of study in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties have been designated as eligible for students to receive college credits. The currently approved programs are:

- When you enroll at PJC, contact the CTE/Career Pathways Office to initiate a review of your high school records and possible certifications.

- After your records have been reviewed, a recommendation may be made to award you credit for specific courses that are required in your PJC degree.
- You are notified through the mail when your award is approved.
- After you have earned fifteen (15) college credits at PJC, those credits will appear on your official transcript.
- You will not be awarded a letter grade on your transcript nor will your awarded credit affect your PJC grade point average.
No, at PJC you don’t have to pay for the college credits that you earned through your Career Pathways high school classes.
