Federal College Work Study (FCWS)
FCWS is a federal program which helps eligible students acquire employment in order to help pay for the costs associated with attendance at PJC.
Work Study specifics:
- Students may work on or off campus at approved locations.
- Students earn minimum wage.
- Students generally work 10 to 20 hours per week.
- Work schedules are arranged around the student's class schedule.
- Students are paid bi-weekly for hours worked.
- FCWS awards do not defer tuition and fees.
- Students must only be enrolled in courses required for their program.
- Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits each semester.
