Welcome to Nursing (Associate Degree) RN (RN-AS )
Pensacola Junior College’s two-year associate degree nursing (ADN) program was established in the 1950’s and is one of the oldest in the State of Florida. The program has enjoyed continuous, full approval of the Florida Board of Nursing since its inception. The ADN program is accredited by the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
The ADN program is 72 credits in length, with 13 credits required as prerequisite courses followed by 59 credits offered over four consecutive semesters. One hundred and ten students are admitted twice a year to the day option, fall and spring semesters; 40 students are admitted each spring semester to the weekend/evening option; and each summer semester, 25-30 LPNS and 20-25 paramedics are admitted to a three semester career mobility. All nursing courses are offered on the Warrington Campus, and all clinical agencies are located in Pensacola within a 15 mile radius.
