Welcome to Biology (BIO-AA )

The A.A. Biology curriculum provides the first two years of college education leading to a baccalaureate degree in one of the biological sciences and will insure articulation into the major at Florida SUS institutions. Students interested in majoring in Environmental Studies should contact the specific institution they wish to attend and the head of the Biological Sciences Department (484-1168) as early in their program as possible, but not later than prior to the second semester.

FEE PAYMENT FOR SPRING TERM 2010

Spring term 2010 (Session A, B, C and D): Fees are due by 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Registration schedules that remain unpaid by the deadline will be canceled. Registrations processed on or after January 5 must be paid by the close of business on the day of registration.

AA Degree CLAST Requirements Changed

The State of Florida Legislature has repealed the requirement to pass the College Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST) in order to be awarded an associate in arts degree. This change goes into effect for any student earning the associate in arts degree after June 30, 2009. more ...
