 Welcome to the Music And Theatre Department

The Music and Theatre Department plays an integral and vital part of Pensacola Junior College’s rich history and promising future. Since its beginnings in 1957, this department has served thousands of students. PJC graduates can be seen in Broadway plays, Hollywood productions, and recording studios as well as directing church choirs and teaching college, high school and middle school students the joy of music. The department offers a comprehensive education in music, music teacher education, and theatre. Students are afforded many performance opportunities in music ensembles and theatre productions. With an outstanding faculty and a solid academic and artistic reputation, PJC provides two-year associate of arts degree programs that successfully transfer with ease to all Florida universities and most other universities in the United States.

FEE PAYMENT FOR SPRING TERM 2010

Spring term 2010 (Session A, B, C and D): Fees are due by 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Registration schedules that remain unpaid by the deadline will be canceled. Registrations processed on or after January 5 must be paid by the close of business on the day of registration.

AA Degree CLAST Requirements Changed

The State of Florida Legislature has repealed the requirement to pass the College Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST) in order to be awarded an associate in arts degree. This change goes into effect for any student earning the associate in arts degree after June 30, 2009. more ...
