Adult High School Graduation Requirements

Graduation Requirements

To receive a diploma, students must complete the following general requirements:

• Earn a minimum of 24 credits and achieve an overall 2.0 grade point average.
• Satisfy all requirements as specified under Course Requirements.
• Earn a minimum of three full credits in the PJC Adult High School program. One of the three credits may be in dual enrollment.
• Pass the High School Competency Test (HSCT) or the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT).
• File an application for graduation after earning 20 credits.
• Discharge all financial obligations to PJC.

A certificate of attendance will be issued to any student completing all graduation requirements but failing to pass the HSCT or the FCAT.

Commencement

The Adult High School holds commencement exercises in May, August, and December. In addition, the Campus Police Department may host a graduation celebration after commencement in May.
