Education Club
The purpose of this organization is to enhance the professional development
and personal attributes of future teachers through exploration of career options,
technology, and social developments in education.
MEMBERSHIP
The PJC Education Club is open to all PJC students who are interested in a career in education. Membership in the PJC Education Club is open to all regardless of race, creed, sex, or national origin. This organization and its members shall abide by PJC's Anti-Hazing Policy, as outlined in the PJC Catalog.ACTIVITIES
Get to know other student's who are planning a career in education. Lunch or refreshments will be provided by the Education Club. Anyone who is interested in joining the club is welcome.
Club activities include:
- Field trips to public schools and upper level
universities
- Workshops with guest speakers
- Workshops on behavior management
- Panel discussion on the future of public schools
- Scholarship information
- Community service projects
TENTATIVE MEETING DATES
All meetings are held every Friday in Building 14, Room 1446.
