The Pirates return a very strong sophomore class. Coach Pena returns 2 first team All State performers in Jessica Guidry and Kali Pringle. The former also being the conference player of the year.

An outstanding supporting cast also returns in Jessica Long, Haley Forrester, Kelsi New and Roxanne Salomone. Two Pirates return from injury in Kiara Gay and Catherine Goodman. Joining this group as the incoming freshman class is a talented and versatile group of players.

A couple of local players from Washington and Pine Forest High School joined the Pirates as Hannah Nichols and Ashley Bergstrom decided to stay home and help the Pirates continue their success. Cassady Nance is a left handed right side from Shades Mountain H.S. in Birmingham who will complete for court time. Jordan Sonaglia comes from Marianna High School and Coach Belinda Christopher's program. Laurel Hill sends the Pirates an outstanding athlete in Katlyn Free who can play a number of positions. The last recruit is certainly someone that was worth waiting for. Jasmine Scott comes from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A two sports athlete, Jasmine was heavily recruited for both volleyball and basketball. Coach Pena gives a big thanks to Coach Chanda Rigby who won the recruiting battle to secure Jasmine.
