The Pirate Softball Team earned the first fastpitch conference championship for the college by posting a conference record of 15-5 and an overall record of 44-8 in 2003.
 At PJC, we are proud of our outstanding tradition. The Pirates won the NJCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP in 1988, have accumulated 12 Conference Championships and included 8 NJCAA All-Americans in their ranks. Our commitment to academics is also well documented. We have had 32 NJCAA Academic All-American players and last season we were ranked in the top 10 in softball as well as academics.
The 2010 team returns starters Pitcher Hannah Wilson, 1st Base Kaci Pribanic, OF Brittany Wynne and OF Jamie Powell. Freshmen Pitcher Lori Eckhard, Middle Infielder Danielle Brewer and OF Cortney Tyson also look to be contributors.
