Intramurals are organized sports leagues and tournaments open to all Pensacola State College enrolled students, faculty and staff. Men's, women's and coed events are offered during all terms and take place on all three campuses. Some events may take place off campus. Intramurals are usually scheduled to start at 2 p.m. and end by 5 p.m. Pensacola State College Sport Clubs include golf, tennis, soccer, swimming, card collectors and outdoor recreation. The events are free and no experience is required to participate. Bring your student I.D. to all events. Skill level is optional, but having fun is a must!
Winners receive awards, ranging form T-shirts to plaques. Everyone is eligible to win awards. Awards can be won through winning events or collecting participation points. Everyone receives points for participating in the events. At the end of the year, the top five people will receive an Intramural Sports bag. The top male and female players will be chosen for the Intramural Hall of Fame. Anyone who collects over 250 points will receive an award.
Pensacola State College's recreational facilities are available to students, staff and faculty free of charge. They include: a fully-equipped weight room; six lighted tennis courts; six lighted racquetball courts; a track; a gym; and a 25-meter, six-lane, lifeguarded pool.
