Welcome to Pensacola Junior College's SACS Accreditation
Reaffirmation Web site. The purpose of this site is to provide
information and updates, as well as an opportunity for you to
participate in the reaffirmation process by submitting ideas and
providing input.
The Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges
and Schools (SACS) is the recognized regional accrediting body for
degree-granting institutions of higher education in the eleven U.S.
Southern states (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana,
Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and
Virginia) and Latin America.
The mission of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools is
the improvement of education in the South through accreditation.
