Roy Bracken, Introduction to Theatre, received his BFA in Theatre from the University of South Alabama, his
M.A. in Interdisciplinary Humanities from the University of West Florida, and has pursued additional graduate work in Theatre from Florida State University. Roy has an extensive background in Restaurant & Entertainment Management, Theatre Studies, and Musical Theatre Performance with Hilton Hotels, Stouffer's Hotels, Steak and Ale Restaurants, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Busch Gardens, Opryland USA, CBS Television, Musicana Dinner Theatres of Florida, Boca Raton Resort and Hotel, Marco Polo and Eden Roc Hotels of Miami Beach, Touring Theatrical Productions in over 90 theatres throughout Western Europe (Wim Zomer/Holland), and maintains an active involvement with the Culinary, Hospitality, and Theatrical Communities in the Pensacola area. He currently teaches French and Russian Dining Service, Wine Technology and Merchandising, and Dining Room Management for the Culinary and Hospitality Management Department, as well as teaching Introduction to Theatre and Musical Theatre Performance for the PJC Music and Theatre Department, on the Pensacola Main Campus and Distributed Learning environments.
