Pianist Kadisha Onalbayeva
8/30/2007 The Pensacola Junior College Lyceum series presents pianist Kadisha Onalbayeva 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at the Ashmore Fine Arts Auditorium, Building 8, on the Pensacola campus.

Onalbayeva of Kazakhstan attended Jubanov Special School for Talented Children in Kazakhstan for 12 years. She then entered Kurmangazy National Conservatory of Music to study piano, composition, accompanying, chamber music and pedagogy. Onalbayeva received the President’s Award for Young Artists and Chevron’s Award for Talented Students. Her career includes solo recitals, concerto performances, chamber recitals, composition performances and teaching.

General admission tickets are $10; seniors, children, non-PJC students, $8; Senior Club members, PJC staff, faculty, retirees, $6; PJC students, free. VISA, MasterCard, American Express, cash or check are accepted.
