"Sound of Music" Auditions

Community actors are invited to audition for the Pensacola Junior College Lyceum Series production of “The Sound of Music.”

Auditions are 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 28-29, in the Ashmore Fine Arts Auditorium, Building 8, on the Pensacola campus.

Come ready to sing – at least 16 bars or one verse and the chorus of an appropriate song – and dance. Bring sheet music or instrumental CD as a cappella singing is not encouraged. The dance audition consists of a choreographer teaching a combination and Q&A session before group auditions.

The production features parts for all ages.

“The Sound of Music” runs Nov. 13-15 and 19-22.
