French Guitarist Gabriel Bianco

Pensacola Junior College presents award-winning French guitarist Gabriel Bianco as part of the 2009-2010 Lyceum Series.

Bianco holds a free master class 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, in the Sydney Kennedy Rehearsal Hall, Building 8, room 884, on the Pensacola campus.

The concert is 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Ashmore Fine Arts Auditorium, Building 8, on the Pensacola campus.

Bianco won first prize in the 2008 Guitar Foundation of America International Solo Competition, adding to his list of first-place honors. He has earned first prize in multiple international competitions in Austria, Germany, France, Poland and Portugal. Bianco's most recent win at the GFA competition earned him the coveted 50-concert tour in the United States, Mexico and Canada with additional concerts in China, Colombia and Brazil.

Concert tickets are $10, reserved admission; $8, seniors, children, non-PJC students; $6, Senior Club members, PJC staff/faculty/retirees; free, PJC students. VISA, MasterCard, American Express, cash or check are accepted.
