Use Your Bachelor's Degree to Become a Teacher

Pensacola Junior College offers Educator Preparation Institute orientations at its three campuses for people interested in teaching as a career.

Q&A sessions are scheduled for 6 p.m. at all locations:

·         July 27, Warrington campus, Building 3700, room 3725

·         July 28, Milton campus, Building 4900, room 4902

·         July 29, Pensacola campus, Building 14, room 1440

EPIs provide competency-based instruction for bachelor’s degree holders that leads to temporary and full teacher certification. PJC offers the state-approved competency-based Alternative Certification Program for people who already hold non-education bachelors’ degrees.

The institutes also provide professional development for teachers, training for substitute teachers and paraprofessional instruction.
