Neil Simon’s “Barefoot in the Park” is all about trouble in paradise. Newlyweds Corie and Paul Bratter return from their honeymoon ready to start their exciting new life together, but things aren’t exactly going as planned. The impulsive Corie’s apartment choice doesn’t meet Paul’s standards. Six exhausting flights, a one-room apartment that lacks a bathtub, furniture and heat, quirky neighbors and a giant hole in the skylight all adds up to lots of laughter – for the audience, not the couple!
