Pensacola State College’s first-ever sporting clay tournament Sept. 26 hit the bull’s-eye, raising thousands of dollars to benefit Universal Scholarship recipients.
The event was held at Shoal River Sporting Clays & Shooting Center in Crestview, where 40 shooters participated in the course, feasted on a barbecue lunch and walked away with prizes from generous donors.
“Without all the help from Larry Orr and his staff and Shoal River and our volunteer trappers, this clay shoot wouldn’t have happened. Thank you to new Pensacola State College trustee Herb Woll for coming out to support this event,” said Breena Bruni, Coordinator for Pensacola State College Annual Fund & Alumni Affairs.
